Tony-Photos.com represents my photographic artwork
For a number of years now I have enthusiastically explored my love of photography as a medium of expression.
I have a particular interest in landscape photography and the capture of the human condition. I have also experimented with creative photography and other genres (pet portraits, music and travel photography).
I was awarded Federation Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP) Artiste honours in 2013.
I am a member of the Australian Photographic Society (Honours - LAPS, 2012, AAPS, 2014) and an active member of a Melbourne-based camera club.
For my earlier digital photography I used a Nikon D70s, replaced by a Nikon D7000. More recently I invested in the lighter weight Olympus OMD EM 1. I use various lens depending upon whether for closeups (semi-macro) or longer range (landscapes and band photography). I use Cokin, and more recently an ND4000 neutral density filter for long exposures. The 80-200mm Nikkor lens for the Nikon has proven flexible and versatile.
For post processing, LightRoom is preferred combined with Photoshop. Software add-ins used include NIK and OnOne's Perfect Photo Suite software for toning and different effects. At times I use other Photoshop add-ins like Flood and Flexify.
